It's good to see that Kenny hasn't got involved by commenting on the Tevez situation. I don't know if he has been asked but I have seen nothing written which,I believe,is the right thing to do. The pricks like Redknapp (who always seems to stick his ore(?) in to every clubs business) and Warnock (WTF ?) to name but 2 should keep out of it and let Mancini dig his own grave. So once again well done Kenny and liverpool for concentrating on us and nothing else.
Sky tried to get a reaction on the Tevez thing in his daily interview, heres a transcript of his response. http://www.liverpool-kop.com/2011/09/dalglish-on-tevez-if-somebody-refuses.html The troublesome player part had all the hacks and journos laughing.
I saw an interview on LFCTV tonight and when the reporter asked if he had ever had a player refuse to play for him his reply was "When I was player-manager I had one player that found it very hard and wasn't happy when he didn't get picked, and that player was me" I thought that was a class reply
brilliant. love the way he handles the press what a change from the confrontations of rafa and the woeful woy!!
"If somebody refuses to play for you you’ve got a problem, but fortunately we don’t have that, and if somebody else has got those kind of problems I’m sure they’ll solve it themselves. Until it comes across our doorstep, there’s no point in us even contemplating what might happen. However, Dalglish did remember one particularly troublesome player he had to deal with: "I remember when there was a player-manager who was really upset when he was left out, and that was me. I had a word with Marina about it and told her ‘this is out of order’"
Dalglish is quality..He handles the idiots in the press, brilliantly. The whole Tevez thing is no one's business but Man City's, lets hope they do the right thiing, slap him in the reserves and let him rot.
Warncock has hated Tevez since he scored that goal against Manure on the last day of the season. So of course he was going to jump on any chance to bash him whether it be right or wrong. He's a bitter man that cant let things go KK did right, keep out of other peoples problem
KK is brilliant with the press,as for the Teves subject i do really hope that Man City make an example out of Tevez to the rest of the footballers in all the leagues That they are under contract to play when the boss say's so No agree with the above slam him in the reserves till the end of his contract
