Watched the Liverpool game tonight, and highlights of the other main games,as a Sunderland fan of some fifty-odd years.I was so proud of Jordan Henderson tonight.....man of the match in my opinion. The mig had an up and down game, and at least Borini played in a European league-game.That proved why he wanted to stop and fight for his place at Liverpool. The main comment has got to be...well done Jordan, and I hope that you have a long and successful career with both Liverpool and England. Our academy at the SOL has provided one class player,to date!
Agree with that mate. Jordan deserves every bit of fortune that comes to him. As for borini, fair play to him, many on here don't like him now, but I consider that as bitterness. He played his heart out for us, and scored goals to help keep us in the league. Now he's playing champions league football with Liverpool and I'm happy for him.
I always thought Jordan was mire of an athlete than a footballer when he was here and although he had occasional glimpses of quality I never thought he would make it at the top but last season he proved mr wrong. He is now an integral part of Liverpools setup and has been made vice captain. So I would like to say well done Jordan and well done to the coaches at Liverpool for turning him into a quality footballer.
