Give credit where credit is due!

Higgs has at least been listening to what the fans have been saying for a while now! about bringing back the passion and pride this club used to have..

Starting by acting quick on replacing MM.. John Ward is a good manager and having Marcus working with him will do well for the club..

There will be some nervous players on the training pitch in the next few days! and rightly so.. the Jan transfer window will be interesting! time to get rid of all the dead wood..

I applaud Higgs for his swift decision and understanding of the fans views..

So i hope now we can move forward to happier times.. up the Gas:emoticon-0142-happy

It had to be someone associated with the gas. Its been mentioned a few times recently that gone are the days when players actually cared about our club. Steve Elliott and Stu Campbell were the last ones who showed any passion for our club. Last time we had a team of players who gave a damn was back in the twerton days. Ward has to bring this mentality back and quick. But will the players we have change their dont give a **** attitude and put the body on the line for us? I dont think so. Hopefully Ward has enough to save us but I can see him make drastic changes during Jan and end of the season.

After previous managers you really should reserve judgment. Personally I thought it was a poor appointment and you could of done better.

on paper, compared to managers that are available, i can see why you think this. however, ward is really the better choice. it had to be ex gas this time, someone who can bring back the passion on and off the pitch as we have lost this at our club. out of ex gas available, he is the best choice.
