I'm glad that you have had a result on your first outing with MM. No sting in the tail. It means so much when your a new manager brought into turn a club around. Good luck guys, really. I hope you do make the playoffs.
Kempy We definately wont be making the play-offs this year bit I reckon a top 10 finish is within our grasp! Early days but MM today was just amazing in all the things he did right from the first whistle. The team actually "put in a shift" which is the first step to recovery. Harder days lay ahead but absolutely delighted with this result.
Only five points separate 6th place and 17th. But another eight points separate us and 17th. We really have a fight on our hands to stay up, let's not talk about mid-table till we've caught 20th place.

On the bright side you did limit Palace to just 6 shots on target? Im sure there is a silver lining in that ?
Well, I uess the only silver lining was that we seemed to have played well most of first half...better team and held our own...then ooopsy daisy...silly defensive howlers...and there we go again. Still, I am not that disturbed as no-one in their right mind would expect MM to come in and fix his team in 8 days with 3 tough games to boot! Lets grind a few points out this month, even another win, and see where we are by mid-December, and maybe just a glimmer of xmas cheer for us all during the festive season. At least MM has seen the players in action at 2 very difficult matches.
