As you all must know by now we have lost 4 miners who did not survive a pit disaster, We in all of wales especially us jacks where these miners were from or near appreciate the fine gesture that your fantastic club are doing by sending buckets around he stadium on today's match for the families who lost their loved ones.....we would like to thank you for your fine gesture.....enjoy the game...please give what you can however small...
....And did you know the club will match what is raised in the bucket's. Oh and thank you for those kind words. We all wish the families of lost ones the very best for the future.
I was just going to post the same thing Dai, glad somebody else thought the same thing, just want to thank the Chelsea faithful and the club for any money raised
It's been mentioned in our local paper mate, and that is what is important, the families I am sure will grateful to your club and supporters, and our fans will even forgive you for beating us even if Torres got sent off
Hope Swansea stay up this season, good to see a non-english club stay in the prem and one strongly linked with us I put Norwich, Wigan and Blackburn to sink.
That's good Jager. Wish the families of the lost miners well. Wish Swans all the best for the rest of the season.
So true But without wanting to detract from the article I'd just like to wish the families of those miners the best of luck in the future and pass on my condolences to them.
Just back from the game - Chelsea FC and the fans a top bunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and was made to feel welcome by all the Chelsea fans I spoke to - so glad to see that you are as classy off the pitch as you are on it!
The swans deserved a warm welcome! Let me say, I guarantee, not only will you still be in the PL next year, but I give you an outside chance of a top half finish. I join the others in commiseration for the famillies and friends of the South Wales miners who recently lost their lives.
Very well said and I too give my condolences to the familes of the ones who loved their lives... it was a tragic story unfolding and it was good to see both sets of supporters united at half time clapping each other on behalf of the 4 welsh miners....
R.I.P to the 4 men who tragically lost their lives. And if Swansea can play like they did for the first 15mins and last 15mins yesterday for 90minutes then there get a lot of results. Good club, good support and hopefully their be back at the bridge next season
