With thoughts as to our ticket prices for ( hopefully L 1 ) next season - I see that Blackpool have announced their prices for their Championship season next season. Standard adult prices are to be £ 195.30 - that's just £ 8.45 per game. Kids under 8 years will be admitted free with one adult. I feel that the chairman deserves praise for keeping football of a reasonably high standard within the pocket of 'mere' mortals. I bet that our tickets wont start at a lot lower than double the Blackpool figure - just saying !
It'll be interesting to see if it does increase season ticket sale... I would have thought lower priced "pay as you go" would have a bigger affect on attendences as only dye in the wool fans generally get season tickets
