You've had a few pelters from people on here the last couple of months for other people's failings (Ashley/Llambias/Charnley).

Well done for producing a well organised, highly motivated team who were simply better prepared for today's game. Well done lad.

Agreed, Williamson and Gosling shored up the team as well when they came on, smart substitutions.

  5. Cissokho LB, move Raylor to RB, buy a good striker. <ok>

  11. What we lacked last season was a player that could score directly from a freekick. Raylor scores them often if he gets a chance, and his long shots are also excellent.

His passing and overall play at the back is excellent if he's given a proper chance.

I dont agree. Had Obertan been on the left and Jonas on the right we'd all be saying how nothing got past Simmo all day and he's class, and that Raylor was ****e and to blame for the goals.

I've always thought Pardew was a decent manager and he showed that today, but I think the reason I and others get pissed off by him is because he never shuts his mouth, which is strange seeing as the board obviously tell him nowt.

Anyway, well done to Pardew and the players, great start to the season!

I wouldn't keep Raylor in, was a liability against Arsenal and doesn't come up with the goods frequently enough. Sign LB, keep Simpson at RB

Nothing wrong with simmo at RB.

Raylor scores a goal and hes now preferred to our first choice RB...LOL, should be more worried about our shocking strikeforce, cant hit a barndoor atm

hats off to him and the team today, but this will be an important week to get a LB and striker in minimum

It probably won't happen, but I genuinely think that we need another 2 strikers, not just 1. Ba looked poor, and we could be in a similar situation to last season if the striker we sign gets injured straight away! And I agree with the above. Keep Simmo right back.
