I saw the match on Stream, and we were well worth the victory, Morgan and Marshall were class, Nugent's goal was quality, Morgan's 'goal' crossed the line, we were the better team and we thoroughly deserved the win. It wasn't a penalty, but the referee failed his mission to prevent Leicester like so many referees have attempted, there will be just 8 teams from this country in the next round, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool...And Leicester. Schmeichal 7- Did not have too much to do, but did what he had to do well. Peltier 6- Solid Morgan 9- rock solid, reliable, denied legitimate goal. St Ledger 8- very solid. Kennedy 5- Suffered torrid time from Bennett. Marshall 9- Instrumental, great corners and created chances. Danns 5- Could not really get in to the game, but worked hard. Wellens 7- pull the strings from time to time, some good passes and crucial goalline clearance of a goal bound shot. Dyer 6- Let down with end product and commitment. Beckford 6- Hit the woodwork, looked dangerous but fair to say his finishing wasn't. Nugent 6- Quality goal, but was silent otherwise. Konchesky 7- Solid. Delfouneso 7-Added pace and flare.
Schmeichel- 7 Great save for the peno and didnt have much to do, never a peno Peltier- 7 Solid performance Morgan- 9 Rock Solid and a bullet of a backheel for his goal which wasnt given MOTM St. Ledger- 8.5 Great performance and partnership with Morgan, Deserved his goal Kennedy- 7 Solid defensively and did well when getting forward Marshall- 7 Put some very good corners in the box Danns- 7 Put himself about and worked hard but not alot came of it Wellens- 7.5 Did well breaking up the play, still not back to his normal self but a good performance still Dyer- 8 He destroyed their right back Beckford- 7.5 Worked really hard up front and was unlucky when he hit the post Nugent- 7.5 Made and took his goal really well and worked really hard for the team Konchesky- Not on long enough for a rating but his experience really helped Delfouneso- Not on long enough All round solid performance and we outplayed Norwich over the 90 minutes
great well deserved win, wish i could of got a ticket... ****e ref yet again, appalling decisions..not sour grapes cos we won. who said morgan was a donkey and a waste of money?Wellens controlled the midfield, we looked the premiership side to be honest. sol to comeback aswell .bring on liverpool, if they can scrape through..
