On getting back to the football league. Hopefully MK Dons go the other way.

Luton unlucky losing on penaltys, they should be a football league club in my opinion. It's amazing the differing fortunes both of us had since we were both promoted to the championship in 2005.

    Delighted for Wimbledon.

Would much rather see York go back up than Luton.

The sooner the franchise ****ers are burned at the stake and relegated to the dog and duck league the better. One league apart now. **** MK.

I hope they play each other in the Cup at Stadium:MK next year, and Wimbledon fans storm Winkelman's office and torture the ****. :D <ok>

They drew each other in 2nd round this year but after replays. MK bottled it.

Agreed, they've had some decent cup games in the last 2 seasons (Bolton and Stoke away) and would be good to see them back in the league. On nights out i've spoken to a few taxi drivers who are York fans and they have some good memories of games against us when they were in the league. Just a shame a lot of people in the city support TWS!

And well done to Wimbledon too <ok>

Yeah, I thought they did, but it hardly counts if they don't get to play each other (given that Franchise FC lost their replay).

As long as Winkelman gets a good kicking in the coming season, I'll be happy. <laugh>

From my experience, most people who live in Leeds are more concerned with the Rugby than the football, with Leeds drawing most of their support from the rest of Yorkshire.

Definetly, having been into Harrogate and Wetherby before those places are full of Leeds fans, and the East Riding has its fair share! I do know some leeds fans at uni who live in leeds, and they would agree with what you said about the actual city been home to more rugby fans than football fans.

It's a great story and I also hope they overtake Franchise Dons.

As for Luton, I'm more than happy to see them non-league, it's the biggest ****-hole in Britain.
