Hi lads. I've posted under the guise of Quelesprit on fugees and 606 as well as Rounders in the past. I've come on here for some better banter than fugees offers at the moment.
Its nice to find a board with some of the old 606 ers on Ron. Its great having a naps table kept as it really will stop the world and his wife making all the claims we used to see so much of on the other board, and will also make very clear who is worth listening to. Thanks for all the work that has clearly been put in.
Cheers Bluesky. The competitions and naps table are there just for fun though. I probably get more fun out of coming bottom than winning, not that I've experienced the latter. Welcome to the forum.
Initial impression seem very good, lets hope we can maintain a level of decorum that is fitting the efforts put in that match the efforts of the Webmaster. Keeping a watching brief for now but happy to be here
Ron: Many thanks for sorting out the registration Will be nice chatting to some of the old faces and good to see this site is 'moderated' correctly and professionally mate.
Hi Ron - and everyone else Someone somewhere must have done something to change whatever it was that my company firewalls were encountering - so well done for that.
Ron - Thanks again mate, at last it has settled down and i can post regularly. for sorting everything
Thanks Linden Met Paul Scholes at the races on Wednesday with Danboro and Wayward. Very nice bloke. Your sort of player? Best player world wide who could NOT tackle
Hi Chasps, happy to see lots of old 606ers on here & banter as effervescent as ever. I don't post much, as I really seldom have anything of worth to offer. (hopefully this will improve in the NH season).
GDC, was your dad a Chelsea fan.? I,m sure about 30 years ago I had some guy following me around Sandown wanting a pic. and tipping me 4 losers. You know I,m only kidding nice to have you all on here with little bit of banter and vg 16-1 winner today.
Linden: Sadly not, we are all United fans mate Had no choice when i was brought up, either wear that Utd strip or you do not wear one However you would have seen me loads at Sandown mate
Gdc.I was something similar,it was Celtic or no shirt.Idont know if I told you story at my dads funeral about 4 o,clock in the afternoon I was standing at the bar with one of his mates who was about 80.I said to him that I had a bad back, quick as a flash,he replied no wonder wearing that ******* blue shirt all your life.
the old ones are the best ones Linden Good quip from a senior mate, sure it had you in stitches. My best mates a Gooner (sadly) and for his BDay i've got him a Tour of the Emirates (and their empty Trophy cabinet) with a 'Leg end', he has a choice of Ray Parlour, Kenny Sansom and Charlie George amongst others, did you ever play against Charlie?
gdc,Charlie was a funny guy, once when the teamsheet went up on the board and he wasn,t playing so he took a clump of mud from his boots and hit the teamsheet with it.My mate told me he scored 2 goals against Kenny S. so when we met him I told him the story but did not mention it was a home game in HMP.
Linden: Excellent love listening to stories from the past. Hopefully a few of us can meet up at Sandown sometime this year and sink a few ales in London on the return journey mate
