    We get new fans as well - or more to the point, we lose some premier league fans...

    If only we were called Hull Tigers, we'd have millions more fans around the world...,,,,

    PL's loss, this one of the most active boards of the whole lot some of the other PL teams boards are poorly attended. We may all talk a load of sh*te at times but its our sh*te and the Friday night music thread is always worth a visit :)

    Remember the days when the actual Championship was called The Championship? Rebranding went into overdrive once Sky had taken over and people were frighteningly quick in accepting it. The latest rebranding was 2004.

    I meant in general obviously not the message board which just follows what the general trend is. Some must snigger when Division 4 is called League 2.

    The main point I suppose is it says the Sky League is separate, even though there is still promotion and relegation. They like to think and promote the Premier League as something special. Until some clubs actually do break away it is in reality still part of the rest of the league. The only difference is really the sponsor. The FA still likes to consider themselves the admin of the whole thing.

    I think I know less about the Championship than ever before, only saw maybe 2 games last season. Nice to be a big dog in a league once in a while though and not a whipping boy.

    I read OLMs post and read it as 'John McRirrick' - spelt incorrectly - that horse racing bloke with the lambchops, stupid hats, who waves his arms around. Thought the response was a bit harsh as I didnt consider him lumpy - a bit of a wally but not lumpy.

    When I re-read - I thought - fair call - she is a bit lumpy now

    And I really fancied her in Men Behaving Badly, not so much in Quadrophenia as she was too much of a mod groupie.

    I met her just after she'd been in Quadrophenia, at Crazy Larry's on the Kings Road, she thought I was Julien Temple and asked if she could be in my next film.

    I said she could...
