    Hi all,

Thought you might be interested in having a gander at this, the latest in my series of posts on the new Championship sides....

The third of my series of six posts looking at the newest additions to the Championship for next season. This time it's Charlton's turn, with Danny Haynes set to return to Ashton Gate

Mate, we weren't away from the Valley for 10 years....we spent just under six seasons in a Croydon toilet and one & half seasons at Upton Park <ok>

Ah ok, thanks. I thought it was 8 1/2 yrs not 7 1/2, 'nearly 10' seemed close enough ;-)

    Hi all,

Thanks for the positive comments - glad you enjoyed and found it good.

Allhellletloose - I'm sorry, I can understand now....no we have never lost our home and realise now the difference in time away matters, it would to me!

Re. Danny Haynes he was a bit hit & miss at Ashton Gate. His pace troubled everyone, but that sometimes included himself as he just couldn't keep control. if he had a calm head when getting towards goal he'd score 20+ goals every season and probably be playing in the Premier League....but he hasn't, so Championship/top of League 1 is probably about his level.

Looking forward to welcoming him back though!
