Rangers snap-up Francis junior 22/05/2012 by West London Sport Adam Francis, son of QPR legend Gerry Francis, has been handed a professional contract at Loftus Road. Twelve months ago Rangers deferred making a judgement on the teenagerâs long-term future by offering a third-year scholarship, giving him extra time to prove himself after a season affected by injury. That deal expired last week, when he turned 19. He was born the year his father managed the Râs to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League. He has now signed a one-year pro deal, as has Taylor Parmenter.
Like Richard Keys just said on talkSport, "A new Francis at Queens Park Rangers! If he's half as good as his dad he'll have a career"
