..probably. Not sure who else but I hope it is NOT Millwall. I'd like Bradford to do it. Loved their FA cup heroics and for dumping Chelsea out of it too. I wonder whether JFH facing his old club Burton is mean to be too.
The drabbest of away grounds in the drabbest of retail parks in the drabbest of towns. I've not been to Barnsley so on the off chance we're doing ok in the league next season I'd go there. Burton, however, is a great away day- the brewing capital of the UK. Millwall is Millwall- ****hole and takes an age to get in and out but local. Gillingham is easy enough to get to for most. Walsall is dull but easy-ish travel.
Two memories of Wigan stick in my mind. The first was the last minute goal by Sean Maloney which virtually relegated us. It was sickening. The second was a lot happier, standing on the pitch after the play off semi final win getting soaked but being ecstatic that we were going to Wembley for the first time in 30 years.
These are exactly my two memories too. The first match I took my youngest to her first ever match....It was a full course in being a football fan..The agony (didn't OBZ get sent off early doors for randomly kicking a Wigan player at a throw in), the ecstasy and of course the final agony.... Standing in the rain on the pitch....with little care that I had less than 20 minutes to get to Marylebone to catch the last train home....A great memory
I would like Burton and Walsall to come up so I can see Rangers play in two grounds I haven't been to
Mbia sets up Remy for one of the greatest ever QPR goals then allows Maloney to draw the silly foul. Gut wrenching moment. Bobby and Charlie put it right!
I remember going to Walsall for a 3-2 win. Kiwomya hatrick I think. He came from arsenal, and cost the R's **** all if memory serves.
