Clouds building again here.
Looks set to be very wet tomorrow.
One brief shower a few miles north, now a beautiful blustery day, still warm in the sun.

Glad I did my holiday flying last week, looks like chaos today. I don’t get why the Chunnel is buggered up. I remember driving up through France in August 2003 after a Disneyland for the kids, Alps for the grown ups holiday. It was during an incredible heatwave, over 40C in France and when the record was set over here. We just drove on and off the tunnel train, no problems. You’d have thought the systems would be better 15 years later.

Hottest I’ve ever been was about 45C in a place called Sandfire Flats in north Western Australia. It hurt to breathe and there were flies everywhere.

49 degrees here and v humid

Hoping the UK heatwave lasts til I'm back in a couple of weeks, knowing my luck it will be slashing down

Had some rain last 2 nights and very welcome it was too, our straw in what used to be our front lawn has started to show just a tinge of green......

A lot cooler today but still shorts weather, due to warm up here again into the mid 20's from mid week onwards.......The Emerald isle is the colour of a Rich Tea biscuit.......

Always carry water with you

Great advice from Southern Railway

From what I have seen so far there are plenty of overweight people carrying too much internally

New message should be

Drinkee more water and stop the moaning
Soon it will be slippery again
