This is beyond weird; somebody has recently changed my Netflix username to something that related to a private argument I had with my partner. I’ve checked the devices that are registered and recognise all of them; so therefore the only way this could have been done is for someone to access one of those devices (there’s only 3). Does anyone have any theory as to what could have happened here? The only logical explanation I have is for someone to have gained access to her house, opened Netflix app via Sky and manipulated the profiles. Netflix only track a full login (as in opening a profile and watching a program) and as such cannot track anyone simply signing in and changing a profile name. My concern is her ex has accessed her property just to do something as creepy as this, but I’m now concerned for her welfare as I don’t stay there more than a few times a week. Again this is beyond random but if anyone can offer a better explanation I’d love to hear it.
Its your Partner no seriously, you need to set up one of your gadgets as a trap to narrow down where the leak is coming from - you may not like the answer though
On holiday in a cottage last year I noticed that the previous user's netflix account was still logged in. I could watch Netflix with their logon and store program selections. I might have been able to change usernames, though i didn't try. The fact yours has changed with a detail that only your partner - or anyone she'd tell would know - probably answers the question.
Sure Netflix allows multiple devices to be accessed via a single username and password. Could be up to 5 ( was once upon a time ) not sure on how that works with access to accounts but why would anyone know private information about a disagreement the 2 of you had????? my alarm bells would be ringing. If her surname is Robbie, of wales, or similar then I doff my cap and good luck with news of the world

I think the best thing will be to open Netflix when she is there with and make a point of it. See how she reacts. One thing to consider beforehand, is this new username what you would regard as 'offensive', or just more of a joke / light hearted dig?
