Hello Gills members, You have all probably seen by now, bristol407's excellent match report after the Wimbledon game. This was promoted to Article and then featured on NewsNow. I would like to make this a weekly addition if possible, with everyone that attends any games taking part. I know I write match reports for home games but I seriously don't think it is right to be promoting my own stuff, accept on the odd occasion, also it is obviously better if you the board members help keep our board active. We can still have lots of different reports for the games but I am looking for one particular report per week to promote and the conditions are as follows... 1. Create a NEW not606 thread for your report (NO BLOGS) on the Gills board. 2. It must be written by someone who was actually at the game. 3. Good spelling, grammar (punctuation & paragraphs). 4. No swearing or abuse aimed at any players or managers (no libel). 5. A well balanced view/article. 6. No copying of reports from other media sources. 7. Links maybe used to verify a particular fact. 8. No smilies. Please note, I may have to change the thread title, for promoting purposes only. It would be good if Gills not606 members can get involved in this, maybe state before a particular game on this thread if you are going to be the one writing it. thanks brb
I have just been given some additional guidance on this topic, that all articles for promoting, need to be a minimum of 200 words. As reference, although I don't see this as a problem, I just done a word check on bristol407's original article and it was 555 words.
