Big game at 12.45 with QPR hosting Norwich. A draw would suit us best keeping Norwich in our sights. Later Reading host Sunderland and Chelsea travel to Newcastle. Hopefully two away wins! Big game for our blue friends in League 1. Lose at home to Colchester and they will be six points adrift.
We definitely want QPR to lose. Every point for the teams below us is bad news. Every point they drop gives us breathing space. Would love to finish high up the table, but just want to maintain the points above the drop zone. May sound negative, but I just want survival this season and then get a few players in in the summer and start next season after a good preseason.
QPR TEAM: Cesar; Fabio, Samba, Hill, Traore; Wright-Phillips, Derry, Mbia, Townsend; Taarabt; Mackie. QPR BENCH: Green; Ben-Haim, Granero, Jenas, Park, Bothroyd, Zamora.
Do enjoy that, after declaring Mackie surplus to requirements, he ends up starting the first game after the window closes.
NORWICH TEAM: Bunn; Martin, Bassong, Turner, Garrido; Snodgrass, Tettey, Johnson, Pilkington; Hoolahan; Holt. NORWICH BENCH: Camp, Whittaker, R.Bennett, Howson, E.Bennett, Jackson, Becchio.
I'd love Norwich to win. Starting to dislike QPR quite a lot. QPR: Rich man's play toy Norwich: Proper football club
I wanted this game after ours, not before. In my opinion: If we beat Wigan, a draw between QPR and Norwich is easily the best result. If we draw Wigan, a draw between QPR and Norwich is probably the best result, but maybe a Norwich win is. If we lose to Wigan, a Norwich win is easily the best result.
Good thing I drank a liter of coffee before this one, or it might have been difficult to keep my attention focused on this rollicking duel.
