So we start with a lunchtime kick off and Wigan hosting Arsenal. Has to be an away win. Wigan have four CB's injured! Later we have QPR at Newcastle. Not sure what I want here? A Geordie win and they climb away from trouble but we don't want Rangers on a roll. I suppose a draw would suit? Can't see Reading getting anything at City or Fulham from Liverpool. Fingers crossed that these other games go our way! Thoughts?
QPR to lose....we want to see teams come adrift and don't want QPR to extend their unbeaten run. We won't lose ground on Newcastle if we win. I don't trust those banker matches with top sides...they only seem to beat us.
If only you could rely on Arsenal, but sadly they are more than capable of losing to Wigan and beating Bayern Munich. Today could well be the day Harry Redkrapp's unbeaten run in charge of QPR comes to an end, but I suppose a draw is possible. I'd actually prefer Rangers to get stuffed, just to take the wind out of their sails. I don't realistically see Newcastle as relegation candidates come the end of the season - unlike their neighbours Sunderland. We realy need this win today. I'm quite anxious this morning, more so than usual.
They are if they don't get a result today! They look like losing Ba and Cisse is out of form. Could easily get dragged in!
Cisse is only out of form because he is playing out wide, which he hates. When Cabaye comes back they will pull away.
The club with the biggest debts in England decided to overnight in a hotel apparently. That's the way to save money *rolls eyes*
A Newcastle win will certainly be much more preferable than a QPR win. But I would prefer a draw most, especially with Newcastle then going away to Man Utd and Arsenal over the following seven days (and even after that, Everton and Norwich are ticky fixtures). I agree about not putting too much hope in Arsenal today. They should win, of course they should. But don't go putting any money on it. Man City vs Reading on the other hand...
