No game for us until Monday, but some interesting fixtures that could throw up a few draws on Saturday.

Then of course there's that rather special other Derby game between City and United on Sunday, should be worth watching. If City win they'll go top on goal difference.

We've got City at home on the 15th Dec and travel to United on Boxing Day, a bit of a drag especially if we have a White Christmas which is starting to look quite likely.

Be a great six points for us if we can manage a couple of wins out of them.

    December Fixtures:

    Fulham (A)
    Man City (H)
    QPR (H)
    Man Utd (A)
    Arsenal (A)

i think we'll finish December with 4-6 points, leaving us pretty much where we are sadly

3 decent games on Sunday. Man U win and 2 draws would be decent.

As for December I agree with the above. QPR at home should be 3 points, Fulham and Arsenal are both winnable just can't see it.

W/E it's still a long season, and I'm sick of hearing some people saying stuff like "could WBA do a Newcastle", as if last season was only a one off and we'll return to being a bottom half side.

We can still finish in the top 7/8.

I think WilliamHill is the place to earn money this weekend. DT and I do a 50p coupon each weekend, hers is usually likely(<laugh>) to win £3,000, and mine is about £600. This week hers is £36,000 and mine is £10,000 <yikes>

Some very good odds. Stoke to beat Villa 12/5, Man Utd/Citeh draw is like 12/5 too, we're quite long odds to get all 3 at Fulham... Could be a very good weekend for us, seeing as her birthday is today, mine is monday <laugh>

We just need someone to have a birthday on sunday and we'll be covered <ok>

Best of luck with the bets and Happy Birthday to both of you. If the bets come up it could be the best Birthdays you've ever had. <ok> <cheers>

    Thanks AB

We've only ever made it past the first result a couple of times, and she has Baggies to win while I have them to draw... This is definitely going to be the week Arsenal turn it on and win comfortably isn't it! Haha

Quite a nice piece on Alan Pardew celebrating his second anniversary as Newcastle Manager, thought I'd share it here seeing as it'll only bring about debates we've already had on a thread of it's own.

Pressure was eased with the sending off and win against Wigan, so I think he's safe if he loses against Fulham, unless we get destroyed. Chief tormentors last year, however, have left for Spurs etc since then, so I'm hopeful we can pull something out of the hat! If not, December is going to be very hard, but I'm looking forward to the games

I'd give you rep ACS if I could. I honestly think if players focused and went into games with no fear we could win them.
Fulham up and down season so there for the taking.
City not the team they were last season.
QPR we should beat them but "Arry" will have them fired up.
Man Utd defence a bit dodgy and want a better performance than we did at home.
Arsenal hot and cold this season.

Been watching Arsenal vs Sunderland... When did Larsson become a filthy git(bypassing the obvious "unwashed" jokes)? Pushing and pulling and hacking and throwing a strop. He should have been off after 2 minutes for a last man pull on Hazard, but hasn't got a yellow after 45 mins of constant fouling? Cattermole/Tiote are more skilled at fouling while Larsson blunders around like chromosome impaired ape, and it's obvious Sunderland are so short of quality in midfield they'll stick Seb anywhere... Very poor against a Chelsea side who are there for the taking. They have decent quality and movement, but are very easy to play against. Stick a man on Torres, one on Mata, and push Hazard out wide onto his left (which he uses so rarely I can only assume would provide a limp flail akin to a clown slipping on banana skin)... Sunderland have so far let Mata with acres of Space, let Hazard cut inside at will, and tried there best to give Torres a hattrick.

And bloody jezzabelle Hughton one again ruining my coupon... Just need a West brom goal then boom and Swansea equaliser, then boom, Norwich 3-0 up and playing like Barca... <grr> Bassong as well coming to life... Might be worth a cheeky bid in Jan? <laugh>

Arsenal vs Sunderland? I must be watching Chelsea vs WBA then! <laugh>

ON a serious not, Arsenal are very lucky to be 1-0 after Mike Jones awarded a penalty for a clear Cazorla dive. WBA could also have had a pen of their own for a Mertesacker handball.

I made a decision to leave all Norwich games out of my coupons earlier in the season. Very unpredictable and Hughton loves an upset. Saying that they are pretty predictable at the moment. Win, win, win...................club record if they avoid defeat today. Cracking manager Sir Chris.
