Reasons to be cheerful part 1:

Our scoring stats are not great but was helped against Wolves. We sit in 12th place so that’s brilliant after 5 games, however the goal stats are always a good indication of how a team is doing and bookies make their odds partly based upon these stats and some others. So far after that horrendous Arsenal game we are starting to put things right. Burnley on -3 goals sit alongside us, but there are clubs like Forest, Brentford and Villa on -4 goals but West Ham and Wolves on -8 & -9 is fantastic and long May this pattern persist.

    Part 2

A coach makes all the difference to a club and I would say David Moyes is a good example as he was drafted in to get WHU out of the Championship 17/18 and did it in style. He was then asked to go back and save them again and he did that too even taking them into Europe. He is now at Everton and the team don’t look to be in trouble like they have been for the past few seasons just managing to stay above the drop zone. West Ham however are back in the mixer. Thomas Frank, don’t underestimate him. Next to Bielsa he was the second best coach in the Championship back then and actually followed Bielsa into the premier league. His unfashionable Brentford rose through the ranks and guess what are still in the EPL and now established. Frank has now joined Spurs and so far are doing very well, whereas their are questions about Brentford. Daniel FARKE now has the chance to establish himself as a top coach and he does that by proving the doubters wrong by keeping Leeds in the EPL.

    Part 3

Russel Martin, how is he still in a job as the fans hate him, the players detest him and the media hate him. Well done Parag Marathe for keeping us entertained.

    Part 4

Aaron Lennon back at Leeds was a surprise, but a good one. He can help the kids come to terms with the highs and lows of a career in football. I remember him breaking through and actually met him a few yards from his house next door to the Merrion Centre in Little London where he lived with his mum. Long time ago that and if I Remeber rightly the Merrion Centre back then had the Bier Keller and German beers. Twinned with Dortmund due to both cities having a brewery or two.
