Al-Ittihad's Asian Champions League match with Iran's Sepahan was called off after the Saudi champions refused to play in protest against a statue of an assassinated Iranian general being placed pitch side. Football in the 21st century is a joke. World Cup going to Saudi in 2034 which means more desert football after the chaos of the last one. FIFA have a problem with money still. They can never get enough of it and will sell football to the Saudis as the pga did with golf, and horse racing, F1…..

Tyler Roberts managed only 18 games last season whilst on loan at QPR so that was a waste of money for them and it’s even worse for poor Birmingham as we sold them a dud this summer. He has only managed to play one game and is now injured yet again and will be out for a while. In 5 years at Leeds he only managed 101 games mainly off the bench, so what we’re these clubs thinking when they wanted him as he has never been not injured, he’s a biscuit.

Poor old Radz not having a great time at Sampdoria as the fans expected a promotion run. No such luck as they are in relegation danger zone already and Pirlo could be sacked. I LMAO when the local sports media have tipped Gary Monk to replace Pirlo

Another great laugh was when I learned that Burnley, Leeds and Leicester have written a joint letter to 777 Holdings to inform them that in the event of their takeover of Everton succeeding and then Everton being found guilty of breaching FFFP rules, they will be taken to court and sued for circa £100m per club and Southampton and Forest were part of the ordinal group of 5 so both may also tag onto this latest claim to 777. Leeds and Leicester both claim that Everton should have had a points deduction last season and Burnley are saying they should have had a points deduction the season before meaning Burnley wouldn’t have been relegated.

Is there still a problem at Leeds regarding fitness? I say this because it has come out that the players were unfit last season due to how Marsch changed everything and this has come from his own players, and Rob Price. The lack of real training carried on under Skibby, Grazia and even Big Sam. This season we look sharper but Andoni Iraola has answered media questions on Adams and Sinisterra and said Sinisterra isn’t fit enough yet and needs to get his levels up. Adams managed to come on off the bench but is injured again and will be out for a while. Sam Greenwood played his first game for Boro on Tuesday night because he wasnt fit enough to play since his arrival. Funny that isn’t it and wonder why some of the rats that jumped are struggling at Berlin, Roma etc.

Before this season 2 players we all expected to be gone are still here. Shackelton didn’t have a great season on loan at Milwall but looked good in pre season and he has had some very good games this season, until last weekend. Another who stood out was Poveda and he looked the best player we had but seems to have been left out a bit since picking up an injury. I wonder if they have done enough to be kept on after January. Djed Spence will keep Shacks away from the RB spot and having Byram and Ayling I believe he will only be covering emergencies in midfield? Poveda can be devastating but he has an attitude problem and FARKE may have already noted it.

Nothing less than a Leeds win this weekend will do.

Is FARKE right to play Piroe as a false 9. Yes he’s scored 4 goals and Rutter a couple and a few assists. But who do you want as number 9 and credit to FARKE because he has just given the media a long lecture on why he sets up with Rutter as a 9 in the press conference this afternoon

    Bamford

    Rutter

    Piroe.

Hats off to Kevin’s Keegan for saying what most people really think.

former 'lioness' lianne sanderson said ' i won't be doing any interviews regarding his comments,i won't be bringing any light to misogyny but i would love it if he just shut up it's a shame people feel threatened by us'..............i wouldn't think they feel that lovely, just that they feel the standard of the women's game is so far behind the male version that you are not really qualified to comment on it basically......i'd love it, love it if you would stick to your own version :emoticon-0148-yes:.........except karen carney because she is the best comedienne i have heard <whistle>

It's the voices of the women commentators that grates with me. I just do not get on with it but threatened? Not a chance.

    Brum v WBA tonight.

A win for the blues would take them up to 5th.

Lots of talk about sacking blues manager and bringing in Rooney as he looks like being sacked shortly

Shackleton out injured so Farke mentioned a possible change of formation as a solution to the left back problem if Byram can't do 3 games in a week.

That could mean mean Cooper coming back in and then Anthony and Ayling as wing backs. Or Ayling as one of three centre backs with Dan James on the right flank.

Ampadu can play CB and don’t forget Gruev who is an international baller who can play anywhere in the middle

Centre back is not the issue this weekend though Doc.

Personally think Byram will start but it seems they've been working on a solution if he had to go off at any point.

Probably should add we had no full back cover on the bench against QPR in midweek.

    Need Firpo back asap.

Yes, his 45 minutes before his next six months injury layoff will be invaluable

He can play Rodon, Ampadu and Struijk as a back 3 with with Ayling and James as wing backs. Kamara and Gruev plus Gray with Summerville Piroe and Rutter. He could use Rutter down the left or right so he has a few options and you will note how many times he mentioned Poveda and Joseph

If we have to do all of that because of one injury then we have a very unbalanced squad

Some fans love making comparisons between Farke and Bielsa and todays headlines “Masterclass” because Farke spoke for 20 minutes on why Rutter plays as a 9 and Piroe doesn’t ….,,,:
