Hi all, I just wanted to give my view on why Farke likes Firpo. One of the biggest problems we have, even with our talented forwards, is breaking teams down who park the bus. Firpo is almost an extra winger and must cause defences nightmares as he darts around as we're attacking. This was perfectly highlighted against Brum.
I think his defensive duties are secondary because of what he brings going forward. Whether you like him or not you have to admit that we don't have a FB who can do that. Playing with 2 defensive midfielders means that we should be able to cover him going forward.
Just my opinion.

Just nicked Marco Van Bamford from Phil Hay <laugh> fair play to Paddy but it doesn’t hide his missed chances again today.

Apparently Ayling was pretty much saying goodbye to the fans after the game.

Middlesbrough?

Usually the prospect of a senior player leaving mid season is something to be avoided but in this instance it's probably best all round. The caveat being that a replacement is incoming.

Clearly Cooper must stay because we need his experience in the dressing room and as decent back up to Struijk.
