Transfer window into the 3rd week, lets see if anything happens. LB RB CB

One of the best players in Spain this season is Mason Greenwood and he just won La Liga player of the month again. Loads of goals and assists and a fan favourite. In Spain because of the wokerati, if he was your player would you bring him home?

Marc Roca is a wanted man in La Liga and Real Betis are hoping Leeds don’t get promoted because they can keep Roca on loan for another season. If we do get promoted then Betis have an option of £12m to buy him but can’t afford it. However there are now 7 Spanish clubs chasing him and his value has rocketed to £17.5m. Yet another reason we need to win promotion.

Jack Harrison was always a committed player for Leeds and he may end up back at the club in the summer. Would Harrison be a starter ahead of James or Summerville?

A brilliant statement from one top ex footballer on about the Forest book cooking and possible points deduction. “The difference between Forest and Everton is that Everton disregarded the rules and carried on overspending. Forest from having a team of loan players needed to comply with premier league rules and had restrictions on loan players, therefore needed to build a new first team squad from a handful of players who were already on the books. On top of this there is the issue of the top 4 or 6 premier league teams who have already cooked the books and cheated and got away with it now having fantastic squads. Any new club entering the premier league now finds it impossible to challenge these clubs as they are now too far away in quality, therefore the premier league riches are hidden from new entrants so the league only consists of 14 teams and the challenge is to finish 10th in this small league to survive.”

Still waiting to see what happens with Gnonto, Gelhardt, Cresswell, Bate, Hjelde………..

Ryan Edmondson, remember him, he was supposed to be the next big thing as he was tearing up the U23 league and was supplied by Jack Clarke. Bielsa didnt fancy him so let him go and to be fair he hasn’t pulled up many trees. Carlisle have just terminated his contract so he can go play for Jacko at Central Coast Mariners. Mind you dont think Carlisle manager was too pleased when he found out Edmondson had cancelled the lease on his flat and was living out of suitcase because he was leaving and the boss wasn’t aware…..

Jordan Henderson made himself look like a cnut when he took the Saudi cash after banging on about rainbow laces. He’s now an even bigger cnut after wanting to leave Saudi and guess what he hasn’t picked up his pay packet before leaving for Ajax because the tax man would take it all

New guy at Roma willing to allow Llorente to cut his loan deal short. Leeds willing to sell to PSG, watch this space.

Leeds refusing to loan out Charlie Cresswell but will sell if money is right. 6 clubs want him but on loan, only 2 clubs offered cash but not enough so far.

Plenty of clubs wanting Gelhardt but Leeds want only to loan him if wages are fully paid. Not for sale, so far. Celtic and Rangers join a long list of suiters.

Lewis Bate on his way to MK Dons on loan which basically means he walks on a free (compo to be agreed) as his contract ends in June. Very strange again as we had cash offers for him in the summer and FARKE wanted him to stay, just like Hjelde, but both were then told not part of Farkes plans and sent them to the 21s. Both too good for academy football now Bate dropping 2 leagues to get football.

Stewart Downing, remember him? Well he’s taken over as our U21 coach. Would imagine he’ll be good if he can stay fit <laugh> no it sounds like a good move but in fairness will have to be good to beat Carlos Corberan or Mark Jackson, Skibula left to join Lincoln City and Scott Gardner has been holding the ropes

Skoobs is struggling at Lincoln with 11 points from 11 games which is practically relegation form in L1, probably means he'll be getting the chop soon if results don't pick up.

Also noticed Forshaw has gone to Plymouth after only playing six times for Norwich this season.

Anyone feeling sorry for Michael Beale yet. Took over at Sunderland from the very good Tony Mowbray and last night the fans were booing him and singing getting sacked in the morning <laugh> some club owners don’t have a clue. He’s only been in the job a month but results and performances are crap

Interesting midfield duo at Plymouth with Gyabi and Forshaw

Max Dean scores yet again for Mk Don and Lewis Bate on the bench hoping to make his debut today

Our next three are all very winnable and, if we do, we will be second (albeit having played two games more) on 3rd February. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Max Dean another of our kids Marsch got shut of has now scored 12 goals this season in 22 matches. I hope we got a big sell on % when we allowed him to leave. Still only 19yo. Betting that Corberan buys him in the summer as he knows him and he scored 4 goals in 5 games for the U21s before we got rid.

As there are no incomings to debate yet, thought I would mention Darko Gyabi performance yesterday. Ryan Hardie was MoM with a 9/10 performance with Gyabi getting 8/10 for running the midfield. This on top of last weeks great performance. We will obviously either get a chunk of cash for this kid in the summer or he will be part of the first team squad. Don’t think he can play against us in the cup

You don’t come through the Man City academy and not be a player. He will have a decent career somewhere.

He’s always looked like he has all of the attributes Doc but drifted out of games too easily, probably just a bit of age and inexperience. I’m sure he’ll come good :emoticon-0148-yes:

Gyabi still only 19 and it seems like he's been at the club for ages but in terms of playing the holding midfield role he's still a baby. Nice that he's kept his head down and worked hard without any fuss or complaint. Selected 8 times the England U20's which proves that within the international set up he's very highly thought of.

Hopefully he now gets a run of games down at Plymouth and comes back to us in the summer ready to push for a first team place.
