Hope FARKE has got a team of coaches and assistants ready to go because come Monday there’s only Skubes and all the retained players are due to be taken by Rob Price to to the medical facilities at Carnegie for a full evaluation and personal exercise and dietary plans. Only players who are staying will attend, so maybe a journo or two might get a glimpse of who we are keeping?

In a week where news is yet again “imminent” the best news was that Rodrigo has told Victor Orta and Seville they cant afford him. Rodrigo is wanted by clubs in the premier league, Seria A, La Liga and Germany, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. It seems he has decided to take the cash and go to Saudi.

Why is Julian Nagelsman so highly thought of and why is he still looking for a job? Is it Nagelsman himself who has a high opinion of himself. When he was sacked by Bayern Munich it was done some say for non footballing reasons. One Director said it was because of his dress sense not being professional? Yes he always wore hoodies and strange jackets but then he was very young compared to the norm. Some say he was sacked for sleeping with a journalist. Strange that he had won the league and was easily winning the league again when they sacked him his win ration was 72%.

Thomas Tuchel took over and Bayern only managed to win the league on the final day as Dortmund slipped up. 3 directors were sacked simply because sacking Nagelsman almost cost them. Nagelsman didn’t really have a playing career as he got a couple bad injuries and retired at only 20yo. His manager at the time was Tuchel who gave him a job assisting and scouting. He learnt a lot from Tuchel and went on to coach academy teams with a lot of success.

At only 28yo he became the youngest coach in German history taking over at Hoffenhiem where had done great things with the kids. He saved them from relegation as they were 17th when he took over and he then got them into the Champions League. He was at Hoffenhiem for 3 years and left with a credible 41% win ratio which considering the state they were in when he took over was pretty good. At only 31yo he was also the youngest coach in CL history.

He then spent a couple of seasons at Leipzig and left there with a 57% win ratio(Marsch followed him and got sacked) and then took over at Bayern earning a 72% win ratio.

Arrogant, full of self confidence, tough with players who upset him. Always remember what he said about Marc Roca when he bought him. He is a player I don’t like and will probably not use until I need to play a certain way. But when I have had to use him he has done exceptionally well controlling the space between midfield and defence. He works tirelessly and his team mates love him. I normally play with 2 or 3 in that role but when I need to be offensive I use Marc on his own and that’s why Roca hasn’t played the number of games he deserved to play.

Nagelsman has been favourite for taking PSG, Chelsea, Spurs and a few Italian clubs. So far he has turned them all down or have they knocked him back after speaking to him? Could he be waiting for Real Madrid? Wierd though that he is the first point of contact for every top club but still not accepted anything. Heard he told Levy at Spurs to go do one as he had no chance of getting CL football whilst he was Chairman.

Players report back at TA on Monday morning. There will be those who have been on International duty missing for another week or 2. We do really need to get our first team squad sorted out and part of that equation is sorting out our kids. Some of them are way too good for the 21s now but loaning them out to our opposition in the Championship seems mad.

Cresswell, Hjelde, Klaessen, Bate, Drameh, Gelhardt, Greenwood, Summerville, Perkins, Joseph, Gyabi and Gray just for starters and we have a few more just behind them too.

YEP reporting that as Radz (On Paper) is still the majority shareholder he could sign a document stating that Leeds Utd have employed Daniel FARKE as the new Head Coach. This would get around the formality of EFL green light for 49ers takeover. That would also mean that Marathe and Radz are still talking……

Exactly, until ratified the current ownership remains in place, which is why I was surprised it’s taken so long to name the coach. It’s also odd why the EFL are taking so long because it’s extremely unlikely Radz is funding anything at the club anymore so the new owners must be.

Those wanting us to sign Gykores from Coventry seem to forget that there are Prem clubs chasing him too, so no chance he comes to Leeds, and besides I hear he will be in Lisbon this weekend signing for Sporting in an £18m deal. He’s the guy we should have signed last Summer and then again in January

Plus Radz though not official owner of Sampdoria has also brought in Pirlo as new head coach. It takes months in Italy to ratify but the logic used shows he is the owner as it’s his money keeping the club afloat. The EFL rule is a joke especially when most of the 49ers have been accepted by the premier league….. EFL a joke

    Since the 6th June.

It took the PL just one day to agree to it.

“I’m expecting former Norwich City boss Daniel Farke to be announced as Leeds’ new head coach. I understand a deal is agreed and that contracts await signing. The caveat is that nothing has been officially confirmed.

“Ideally the San Francisco 49ers Enterprises would like their takeover ratified by the Football League (EFL) before unveiling Farke. They have a core of around ten major investors so it may be that the process is taking longer than anticipated if they all need approving via the Owners & Directors Test which was made more stringent by the EFL this summer. It is expected to go through.”

It’s best they take their time with their tests on all our owners. Surely we don’t want any more clowns in charge of the club. At least when they get approval we’ll know everything should be above board

That's not how the EFL work. More likely to approve people who won't be able to pay players wages by March and then give us a pts deduction <doh>

Another shyt defender wanted by an Italian shyt club…. Oh wait they only won the league title..

    Is Koch potentially joining Napoli?
According to Sky Italia journalist Franceso Modugno (via Gianluca Di Marzio and Sport Witness), Napoli are eyeing up a summer move for the £38,000-a-week defender, as they look to bring in a tailor-made replacement for centre-back Kim Min-jae, who looks set to join Bayern Munich.

But why would they want shyt? And in his case a full German international wanted by Man Utd, Spurs, Newcastle, Napoli, Frankfurt on and on please talk sense mate. My view is we have had 4 shyt coaches and even then he was one of the stand out performers this season but we have different views mate

Doc... if he's really wanted by Man U, Spurs, Newcastle... then he'd go there for double the money he'd get at Napoli or Frankfurt.

Counter is he'd expect more game time and maybe increase his international chances elsewhere but money talks. Almost always.

I don't think Koch is a bad footballer by any means... but some people's games aren't suited to the physicality of the PL. Koch himself said he couldn't hack the pace in the first season... he bulked up and looked better last year, but still lacks the pace and defensive decision making in my view for the PL. He's decent on the ball and in a less physically demanding league will probably do well.
