Good morning chaps from a very warm and sunny Abu Dhabi, I hear its snowing over there....Anyway, enough of me being Smug. Low scoring week again which proves we all no NOWT about this league. But bucking the trend is Dorset with a very acceptable 7 points. At the other end we have Gil T consolidating his position at the bottom with Zero, Nil, Nada, Zilch, naught, diddly squat. Ha'way Gil T get a grip lad....a few Guest Fixtures right and who knows.....

Its the west of the country that's been hit with the snow mate - so far. I hate the bloody stuff.

I love Abu Dhabi. Stayed at Etihad Towers, and did Yass Island when I was there a few years back. How warm is it there?

I live only about 10 minutes from Yas Island, Its been developed big time in the last 18 months, we have Warner Bros, Ferrari World and Yas Water park..Soon to have Seaworld. Huge Mall just been built on Yas as well. Weather today in the high 20's...not bad for winter and perfect for golf :)

    You sod.
Yeah, Ferrari World and the water park were there when I was there. The water park was brilliant - much better than the one on the Palm in Dubai. I didn't think Ferrari World was much kop - bit of a shell with not a lot in it. I'm sure it will have been added to since though.

Why do you live in Abu Dhabi?

I'm here for pure greedy...tax free cash. To be honest when I came Wasn't expecting much, but i've been here 6 years now and love the place. I've made life long friends, the weather (apart from a few months in the summer which is brutal) is amazing. I turned 60 last year and really thought I would be heading back, but right now I would rather stay here. By the way, if any of you guys want to visit, feel free, great place loads to see and do...I will gladly show you around what we call the "cultural" parts of town....Make of that what you will :emoticon-0105-wink:

    It rhymes with clucking bell.

PS, to be fair flanders it is a pretty bloody difficult task to hit sweet FA unless your sticking 6-6 for every game.

    Cheers flanders.
