Today's question: how many games do you typically attend? It varies for me season by season, but I went to about 26 last season and will probably do 35ish this season. 2012-13, I'm probably only going to get to around 20 (mostly away) unless we get promoted or Bates leaves and there's a change in the price of home tickets. Do you mostly go to homes or aways? Cup games, pre-seasons or league games? Anyone on here a home and away ST holder?
Most years would be none (it's a long way for a home match), but this season I can vote 1-2 as I will be at WH and NF games in March and am counting down the days. Have previously been in 2007 v Bristol Rovers (1-0) and in 1981 v Everton (1-1) and Wolves (3-0). Never been to a losing Leeds match. Looking forward to meeting some Leeds fans and cheering the lads on . MOT
Nowt last 2 seasons as work nights and weekends - Plus I don't want to give Bates any of my money - Not bought a shirt for 2 years now either. Used to always get one every season... Also being down souff it costs me about £100 a time which i cant justify... Also getting wed in June 2012 so been saving like a barstard for that.
Agree with Ken, it's bloody expensive to watch a home match, 450 mile round trip for me is about £70 petrol money plus ticket price, so mostly go aways down South. Couldn't get Arsenal ticket, rang them & only available for members & not going on general sale. Next up Palace away for me, followed by home game v Ipswich.
Been to 8 home games so far this season, although it is rarely value for money. Always buy a programme to get the wise words from Ken another rip off at £4.
