Wednesday is now nearly over
And when it is, two days remain,
Before all of us are in clover
Riding the Premier League train
With many stops before alighting
At our destination in May,
It promises to be exciting
And well worth the fare we´ve to pay
Not everyone can buy a ticket
Even if one they sure could afford,
And some find it a sticky wicket
Despite having a seat aboard
The journey itself is a long one
Covering most all of the land,
And lasting 9 months before it´s done
Many things may not go as planned
But there´s one thing you can be certain
The train will keep rolling along,
Some riders may go for a burton
While others will make up the throng
So I will be back in a few days
To wave ´bon voyage´ to the team,
And wish them the best on the railways
