It was a really exciting game - despite shooting ourselves in the foot twice we pulled it out of the bag. Great to see two strikers linking up (Mangan was immense) and some good quick passing in midfield. Also nice to see subs making a difference again - I thought Wallace looked solid and Whalley pulled of his usual late scoring act. I fancy Man U away next. We MUST now bring the same passion into the Southend game on Tuesday as that game is arguably more important. Would still like to see a striker and a winger (both under the age of 30 please) coming in on Monday.
I didn't attend the game as was suffering with a crappy cold. Sounded great on radio and great goals. Whalley, JLAA, Mangan and Grimmer all did well. Vernon again also doing good work when he came on. MoTD coverage was poor though. Tuesday's game will be a tad busier than it might've been due to everyone wanting those supporter points!
Sounds like we got the performance (apart from the defence) but not the result tonight. 10 home league defeats in a season by February must be a record. Will MM survive to take on the might of Man U?
