Whisper it quietly but things are looking up tomorrow. My bet is at Leicester in the 3.30 Ballyoliver 4/1 I'll be on Furrows in the 2.10 at Ludlow as well.
3.30 Buddy Balero - 7/4 This is a horse I rate highly, and he showed good fighting spirit to win over an insufficient trip at Exeter on his chase debut. He steps up in trip for his handicap debut and with a rating of 129 I think he has a very good chance tomorrow in a competitive enough race at Leicester. The form of his win at Exeter looks fine with the third Violin Davis coming out and winning well at Newbury (rated 133 now) and Theatrical Star, the second home that day was thought good enough to compete on trials day at Cheltenham. I think he will take this with some style before going on to the National Hunt Chase at the festival (had a nibble on him for that @ 42.0) Oh, and if it gets tough, he has AP to urge him on.
Well done Danny Mullins. New retained rider for Barry Connell. Huge vote of confidence for a young rider.
THREE CHORDS 14-1 3.30 Leicester had some very nice form in the book two years ago. The handiapper had caught up with him after two cozy wins and hiked him up to 126. He has had 662 days off due to injury but is back tomorrow and apparently in rude health. The handicapper has taken pity on him in the meantime and dropped him back to 118, the exact mark that he trotted up twice off. He has a hell of a chance. Caroline Bailey produced one of these for us a few weeks ago, she can certainly have one ready and what a tasty price.............for now!
Ludlow 15.10 Rydalis/Quinte du Chatelet - Reverse Forecast. What a joke, I'll be lucky to get one in the first 3 but might as well have 10p on it and drive 10mph slower on the way home tomorrow
I must say I did have a look at this one as well. Only thing was stopping me backing him was the absence but I'm guessing you've heard he's race fit which makes up my mind.
Leicester have cancelled their inspection, which I guess was done by having an inspection before the inspection after yesterdays inspection but before the planned inspection.
bit asleep this morning, but why is the singer from The Human League walking around Leicester racecourse?

They don't write them like this any more: If it seems a little time is needed Decisions to be made The good advice of friends unheeded The best of plans mislaid Just looking for a new direction In an old familiar way The forming of a new connection To study or to play And so the conversation turned Until the sun went down And many fantasies were learned On that day Keep feeling fascination Passion burning Love so strong Keep feeling fascination Looking learning Moving on

Oddy, dont forget the classic opening line to 'Dont You Want Me...' 'You were working as waitress in a cocktail bar...' Not in the middle of bloody Sheffield love, its full of pit miners pubs, whippets, flat caps and barrel pint pots... No time for your fancy cocktails round er...
