and we have a little movement with Muntari firming up. I would expect him to come over tomorrow and it should really go quickly from there. Whatever happens I cant see any knw signings making it any further than the bench on Tuesday night. We are fresh from a good win. Only Catts for Zebden would be a change for me. Certanly cant see Gyan or Richardson losing out. Back 4 look to be a settled 4 and Henderson and Steed should be certanties. That only leaves Elmo so it would be same again or Elmo.Henderson.Catts.Steed..or Henderson..Catts Zenden..Steed. Would be good to have both Muntari and Sess on the bench ready to come on.
Sounds good Syd would like to a forward to your subs bench as well would love to see Muntari, Sess & Pavlychenko all in before Monday
Not sure about Pavlychenko its not that I dont rate him I dont know what it is....for some reason when I think of him I think of Flo...........But Muntari and Sess would be amazing if we could get them in. Will give us loads of options across the middle. But we HAVE to sign a striker for me its a must otherwise we will become a one dimentional team who people know how to play against!!!
I know exactly what it is, I cant spell his bloody name, bring back Bent or Tommy Smith, I'm fine with them.
Don't agree that a settled team with only one recognised striker would be one-dimensional. Wasn't it Birmingham who had an unchanged team for something like 12 games last year and they picked up loads of points. The other teams didn't work out how to play against them. They're not having that luck this year and look where they are, with basically the same personnel. Obviously, I would be over the moon with Sessegnon and Muntari, but if we don't get them, our team playing like at Blackpool (we did better then ManU!) and then Campbell and Welbeck coming back in five games' time should see us still in the running for 6th or 7th come the end of the season. And that's Europe next year. No. I don't see signing a striker as being a must.
