Matt had a late one last night so Good morning all... All things considered what would you rate last nights performance, I would give 7/10 I thought we did pretty well. Danny Mills is slamming Silvestre for his performance, I would have to agree we definitely need a better keeper than both Green and Silvestre next season. Roofe is getting better and better and so is Doukara, are they just being given more game time or is it the coaching. Worryingly we now have Bridcutt, O'Kane and Hernandez injured, they were three key signings this season so all out together can't be good news. Is Hernadez injury prone, he always seems to be on the treatment table..
Morning all. Guess the hairdresser from Southampton had a late night sat on the M62. I see Phil Haye decided to add the Highways Agency to the team and gave it 2/10 but thats what its like every day all along the 62 and the M60 as Chesh and I well know. Great performance last night for 75 mins when we were probably edging the game overall and we didnt deserve that scoreline. But I dont care as I felt proud of those lads last night. In fact not felt like that since we had Graysons boys scaring top teams.. All the headlines will be about the young kid beating Michael Owens record, but the scousers need to ask what happened to the other young 17-yo who has vanished as a player. Dont get carried away Woodborne whatever your name is. Our youngster that beat Rooney's record was also on display last night off the bench and took a standing ovation when he came on for the scousers. Well done James. As Ristac says we have 3 of the better players out injured although I believe O'Kane will make Villa and we will have Pontus back. Cooper was man of the match at the time he had to go off so he will be a big miss as CB cover too.
On the kiddy fiddling thing it looks like Ken Bates could be in the shyte again. Chelsea paid off a couple of kids to keep them quiet when one of their coaches was the subject of child rape. Bates will be hiding big time from this one
Morning all. Chuffed with last nights performance and had Roofes curling effort gone in, I believe wed have won. Doesnt matter though, as others have said, its clear Monk has built a team not only fit to challenge for promotion but able to hold its own when we get there, As for our fans at the game, incredible and a credit to the club
My wife walked in as I was watching the game when the Leeds fans were in full swing.. She turned to me and said "your lot sound like a load of heathens ready to go to war, I bet the other fans feel intimidated" I was puzzled for a moment then realised she thought the game was being played in Leeds...
A lot of snowflakes from around the country were on twitter last night complaining about our fans language scousers were praising our fans as being the best visting fans for any match for a couple of years. well done
hello all .. Duke, for me, is an average Championship player at best .. I think Monk has Doukara playing to his full potential right now, and can't see him improving .. it may be that he is better with a striker beside him, but he's not going to be a 12 goals a season forward .. can see Doukara doing much better in Lge One Sivestri is an excellent shot stopper, and in all honesty, although I initially felt he made a mistake for their first goal, I have to concede that it was an excellent cross from the right back and superb finish from the Belgian International .. if you really want to find a culprit, then Taylor was at fault for allowing the defender time and space to cross into a dangerous area, and Ayling for letting Origi get past him and into the red zone .. Silvestri playing 20 games in a row behind our current defence will probably improve no end, but that won't happen unless Green is injured .. Monk will bring in a new goalie next season, bet on it Roofe was excellent last night, and you can see him growing as a player .. the Anfield visit will be a huge boost for his confidence, now he just needs to find a few more passes, as does Sacko, and our goals tally will start climbing Bates will no doubt blame Leeds fans for whatever may have been wrong at Chelsea, but how nice if he's at least named and shamed as a minimum .. he's probably on Scum Phillip Green's yacht right now Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Good day Billy. While I agree with most of that, I cant agree on the first goal. Silvestri was day dreaming or something, stuck to goal line and made no attempt to get to cross first. A great cross but was near enough to the keeper for him to have at least made a nuisance of himself. Dare I say, he even looked a little cowardly as ball came in
Afternoon everyone, and many thanks to Doc and ristac for filling in for me (again) Things I learnt yesterday:- If we go behind, we are very short of ideas. We definitely need another centre back in case of injury to Bartley or Jansson. Berardi is great going forward, but was responsible for one of the goals (for not closing it down quick enough) We had Liverpool rattled during the first 10 minutes of the second half. Wood does not make enough runs We need creativity There were hundreds of Leeds fans in Liverpool's home end.
why would Liverpool fans bother not much excitement for them playing an average championship side is it
He even replied to texts when he had no idea who he was replying too. I wonder which colour scum shirt he bought on the way past their superstore.
Who says we've not progressed ! Mighty's never called us average before.Millwall fans dream of one day being average. Can't see it happening though, recon you will always be **** Wallies.
