Kazziana (15/8 WH) looks a good thing at Bath 14.50. Very tenderly ridden on début over this distance. Hacked up next time over 8f. Back on the turf. Only concern is Buick not riding as he is at Lingfield. Maybe the 3lb allowance is a bonus. Edit. As I posted the price has gone. Best price 13/8 WH (generally 6/4)
OLD STORM 12-1 Worcester 7:40 interesting Irish raider who is quite conceivably well in. a little disappointing when going off fav last time but the booking of Tom Scudamore really does catch the eye. cannot see it going off at more than half this price!
Down to as low as 6/5 now, maybe because of a couple non runners but I think I will go large on this one. Like yesterday I see Mr Hannon only sends one down the road to Bath to contest the 3.50. Short priced fav is Shaden whom has had only 3 runs ridden each time by Miss Turner. Today Jamie Spencer is onboard so that is a backward step but the Hannon horse RING OF TRUTH is for me. Has already beaten Shaden and will do again today.
Gowran 7.25 QUEEN ALPHABET 7/2 Price going quick on this one, missed 9/2 it was into 7/2 when I got on. Tidy form in the book in the context of this contest. Smullen booked, think this wins well.
Bath 250 dizzy heights 47/1 bet fair Dizzy looks to much prefer a cut and I thin I would much rather ew this against the fav but good luck all on the fav
Well she did beat the fav uncle. So much for that one looking a good thing. I blame it on the jockey change
Another day another jockey losing a horse a race. William Twiston Davies was just beaten on Napoleon Solo and to be fair the horse was a torrid ride and had clearly learnt nothing from his debut last year. However! the horse was clearly in front but going left so WTD does the right thing and gives the horse two smacks from his left hand and the horse goes back towards the rail. Then for some reason he confuses the horse and changes hands to then administer a smack on the right causing the horse to veer left again allowing another horse to get up his inside and win. These basic pilot errors I am afraid are the difference of winning and losing. What happened was he wanted the horse to go right and he did, but then the jock forgot he was doing what he asked him to do and thought oh he is now veering right I better switch through and get him to go left. The most disappointing thing was I could see what he was going to do, knew it would cost him the race and then had to watch him do it. This horse will be worth backing next time however if a better Jockey on board.
Previous layout worked fine, was no need to change it. Just another sad sign of the times, everything is moving towards tablet/mobile, even desktop OS as you can see with windows 8 and 10, everything is becoming one size fits all but its the PC/laptop users that will suffer. It sometimes feels like they are heading towards being completely dropped, probably would be if it wasnt for the gaming industry. When Tablets first came out I was sure they would fail, just seemed like a big mobile that was unnecessary to me. Unfortunately I was badly wrong and the mug majority lap this **** up. It has nothing to do with what you know about computers, I understand how computers work behind the scenes, 99% of this majority driving the market dont have the first clue how anything works, they just like there big eyesore tabs and touchscreen.
They werent wrong about machines replacing humans, in 10 years computers will have exceeded human brain capacity, in 20 years they might have doubled it, algorithms are already running the stock market and getting more powerful all the time. Might be wise to get your kids into computer science. I love computers, I do software cracking as a hobby and im all for more powerful technology, just not in the direction of tablet/mobile UI which will serve only to further dumb down the end user. Seems detrimental to me in terms of the future.
