Good Luck <ok>

All the jump boys are hibernating and there doesn't seem to be much of the flat lads about either, even Ascot was unbelievably quiet.

Banham runs in the 6.30 at Bath this evening: an American bred gelding who has hardly set the world alight so far. A few years back his half-brother Sea Defence looked a good 2yo and won a good maiden at Newmarket. As a 3yo he ran a poor race then came out and won smartly at Ascot. Almost immediately afterwards he was purchased by Hong Kong and had his name changed to Giant Treasure. He is now a Group 1 winner in Hong Kong and amongst their top milers.
Banham clearly isn't his class but if he can handle soft ground as well as his half-brother he should be able to win this lowly affair.

Fred was a NR <diva> moneyback

Is that as exciting as it will get today?

How do you feel about Sturgeon pleading to the EU to keep Scotland in it when the UK leaves? Fortunately the EU understood the inappropriateness of that request.
You never know we could start making overtures to Catalonia and La Basque to enter into a Free Trade Zone with England!

Dexter can probably help with the Basque angle (and I don't mean his wife's lingerie <laugh>)

What a ride from Richard Johnson on Russian Regent in the 3.40 at Perth today - stunning and one AP would have been proud of <ok>

Peter Bowen coming into his own now the summer has started - his last 10 runners have yielded 4 winners (7/2, 9/2, 7/4 and 6/1) and 4 places. He's got one on the flat at Bath tonight and then 5 at Newton Abbot on Friday.
