    Ffos Las 130
Tom Lacey sends Bannow Bay Boy and puts Cameron Iles in the plate . Tom seems to be reeping the rewards with the 10lb claimer and this could and should be the day the 5yr old Bannow opens his account. 2s looks small but bog available.

In the finalé at Ffos Las, (17:00), a Class-4 Handicap Hurdle over a distance just short of 3m, a chance is given to Concrete King. The gelding is proving expensive to follow but has run with credit of late. What is interesting is his Irish P2P form, many times a winner on heavy ground over 3m. He has had these conditions only once under Rules since coming over from Ireland, in which he finished 2nd of 12 at Lingfield in Dec. 2021. Another thing to note is a top-rated NH jockey, Adrian Heskin, has been booked to ride for the successful Neil Mulholland yard on this occasion. Hoping for a podium finish at least with this selection!

9/1 is the best price at time of writing, freely-available. E!W best option.

Only 4th. Have to resign myself to the fact that CC is a one-paced plodder nowadays, and probably couldn't win in a ploughed field even.. Now watch the devil win NTO. Very disappointing.<yikes>
