    Please let an old man indulge himself.
    15th November 1958 with City away to Wednesday, in those days called the YO-YO team because they went up from the 2nd Division or back down every other year.
    Thanks to Atyeo, Tindill and Alan Williams we beat top of the table Wednesday to inflict their first home defeat of the season.

    8th December 2012; What a superb win by the lads today. Not necessarily the performance but the fact that they in spite of going behind twice, they kept on pushing for the result they got. I just want to say thank you to all the squad even if it was a roller coaster ride listening to it on Radio Bristol.

    But now for the purpose of the reference back to 1958. I urge everyone to enjoy the win but don't get too carried away. There is a tremendous amount of work still to be done this season beginning with Derby.
    Because in 1958, City played their next game at Ashton Gate against lowly S c u n t h o r p e and lost 1-0. The team, players and supporters must ensure that we don't repeat this in 2012 and get something from Derby next Saturday.

    COYREDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi shiny;
    Bolognese, red wine, Strictly come dancing, X-Factor and the MOD/Championship. And then off to bed to dream of City winning every game for the rest of the season.

    Its not the individual act that i object to, but the concept. I come from a time when bands learned their craft in pubs and clubs, and British bands led the world. Now i find our musical output embarrasing. Plus i think Cowel should be sent to Guantanamo Bay for what he has done to our culture.
    As you can see ROD, a bit nervy there...

    I've cut any tie/addiction to crap-factor and its liberating. Now I either stay I the pub for longer after football, or I take the misses out in the hope I may get some!

    P.s It's certainly more quiet tonight. Maybe because the usual moaners are struggling to moan about anything with any substance? Or.....
    - you're Christmas shopping
    - you're watching crap-factor (shame on you)

    X Factors brilliant whats not to like. As for the music nowadays it really is so much better than the 60s/70s/80s and 90s

    Oh the innocence of youth who do not understand what came before. When bands/groups/individuals were proper singers and musicians without the help of all the electronic assistance of today. Shiny and others you'll never know how good they all were in the past because you never lived it at the time. and they were good because it's still being played all over the world today.

    I envy you, imagin living in a world when your yet to discover music. I would say listen to Pink Floyd The Wall, you do need to be in a certain frame of mind to listen to this one or Marillion Misplaced Childhood to realise that music was not just about singles in the charts these albums were telling a story, every song is just the next chapter.
    I would suggest (I tried and tried just could not do it ) that you buy yourself a guitar and practice on it I guarantee it will be the older style music you are learning to.
