Four winners in the last seven days really does herald a return to form for the Newmarket trainer Lucy Wadham. She has two runners at Ludlow tomorrow partnered by Matt Crawley, not my favourite claimer, and one has a decent chance at a very tasty price.
MIDNIGHT MACARENA 2.40 20-1 really has dissapointed since winning her bumper in 2010 but she has shown hints at a return to form lately. She has slipped nicely down the weights and with the yard being bang in form I think she is worth a speculative punt. I think 2m 5f is her ideal trip and with a little luck in running she will certainly figure.

BIG EASY Leicester 3.30 5-4 was an impressive winner on Saturday when still looking very green. A 7lb penalty will not stop him from following up.

I am also told that MADAME ALLSORTS 2.00 Leicester is expected to improve now fancy a test of stamina. Has been behind some decent animals.

    7.20 Santefisio - 9/1

This horse really interests me, and now it has moved to one of the best new yards around. He travels strongly in his races and I think he will do the same in this race, and even if he runs to form I think he can win this, but I also think that the yard can improve him more.

30/70 win/place bet again, smaller than the one on the fibresand at Southwell

You seem to have your finger on the pulse Nassau, and you may well be right yet again, at a price. What do you think of King of Windsor in the 5-20 ?

    May's Boy 14/1

Like the look of Mark Usher's 4 year old colt who could go very close if stripping fitter for his reappearance run earlier this month. On his last start, May's Boy came 5th beaten 3.5L in this race and has dropped 2lb for that effort to a mark of 76 in a race won by Sunset Kitty, who I think sets a very good standard. The Form of the race already taken a boost with the 2nd Shifting Star winning on his next outing off a 1lb higher mark. That race was May's Boy's first race for about 4 months and it looked as though he'd come on a fair bit for that race. Although 6lb above his last winning mark, he put in a very good 1.25L beaten 4th off a 4lb higher mark so I certainly think he' able to defy a mark like this. This C+D winner drops back to 7f from his last race which also looks a positive, as does his good draw in stall 2. Trainer Mark Usher is in fantastic form with 2 wins and a narrowly beaten 2nd from his last 6 runners and this represents his only runner of the day tomorrow with David Probert on board.

Going to play a first and last race John Ferguson double at Ludlow in the shape of Creekside and New Years Eve. Creekside, forecast to be 10/11, was a very talented horse on the flat for John Oxx winning off a mark of 100 and was I thought a very impressive winner on debut for Ferguson at Catterick earlier this month despite not being overly fluent jumping. Should improve for that and as his Grade 1 entry in Leopardstown in less than 2 weeks time suggests he's well thought of and I think should be much too good for the opposition tomorrow.

New Years Eve FC 5/4 was an extremely impressive winner at the course earlier in the month and I think he's a little bit special. Making his racecourse debut, New Years Eve travelled into the race nicely before finding and finding under hands and heels urging from Jack Quinlan to readily draw away from the rest of the field, utilising the speed in his decent flat pedigree. Although the form of the race is untested, it was so impressive visually that I will be shocked if New Years Eve doesn't turn into a very decent performer. A fair few debutants tomorrow from top yards and I feel they'll have who be miles above average to land this if New Years Eve is on song, who could easily be on his way to the Cheltenham Bumper if successful in this.

He has a fair chance, my worry is that The *****ose is in form and should really have gone even closer on his last couple of runs. Not a race for my money, but good luck if you do play.

    Leicester is off as well

NAP today TRAZAR 3.35 Down Royal - has shaped as if he has ability in three maiden hurdles so far despite being well beaten each time. Tony Martin is good at getting improvement out of his horses once handicapping and I would like to think that a mark of 97 isn't beyond this horse

Not this time no Nass <ok> I do think it has been a trier but there could be improvement now that is all - he is as big as 25-1 on betfair so it doesn't look like a handicap plot. Just a small fancy. Big Easy on Saturday was a different matter - cheating ba stards couldn't have made it any more obvious <rolf>

Its dreadful, far too much media on the homepage, and Racing is hidden behind the Other Sports on the menu bar. Instead they have the Olympics (6 months still) Golf and Rugby League! Its also not optimised for use on laptops and/or desktops.

    Farce
