The Musidora looks an interesting race. Hope I can get to watch it and maybe spot an Oaks hopeful.

    3.30 York- Tin Man - 6/1

A very tough race to crack this and although he wasn't my first choice (jungle cat was because of the fitness) the forecast has made me change my choice! A class act who's win at champions day was no fluke what so ever and altho is carrying a penalty for that win! He is the best horse in the race and is cracking value! The more rain that comes the better for him and goes well fresh

Typical days racing at York with the 4 handicaps attracting 20, 19, 17 and 19 runners respectively. Bookies benefit. The quality race of the day, The Musidora, attracts only 5 fillies. After a cursory, disrespectful glance at the cards (and that only because I am bored at work) I have selected the following, none of which will be carrying a single cent of my money:

    Awake My Soul
    Lincoln
    Growl
Shutter Speed (Tote place brown envelope)
    Harbour Grey
    Savalas
    Zain Arion

Best of luck to those of you having a bet today <ok>

4.55 at Great Yarmouth really fancy Swilly Sunset - was given a fairly poor ride last time out held up too far off the pace - up 2 lbs but should go close.

Interesting to see how Senewalk goes - apparently had a wind op and obviously some time to mature - could yet be a supreme horse....

Running him mid-May feels to me like they want to see whether he still has a future in the yard or not. If he disappoints I would expect him to be sold on fairly quickly.

I'll have a go with a few pennies on Final in that York opener, though keep an eye on Al Neksh.
The commentator could have a great time with Udontdodou and Out Do in the second race <laugh>, where I like the chances of Muntadab.
I should also say, off topic, Good Luck To Sheff Wed for this evening :emoticon-0148-yes:

You'll be pleased to know that I'm going against you in this race Wooly. I'm fairly confident that BRANDO (9/4) will win.

Maybe put in a double with Lovell (13/2) in the first but definitely a single bet

Wentworth Falls (7/1) in the next for a very risky treble
