The forecast seemingly swayed their minds in the end Archers, little bit of rain given towards Thurs/Friday. I agree in a sense that I'd of stayed with the Novice race but if they have won the Gold Cup come Friday eve they will be deemed geniuses. Hope the horse runs to its merits Friday, turning into a potential excellent GC with so many exciting prospects that we could have around for years to come.

Hopefully he'll get round safely on Friday. I think running a novice in the GC is too much too soon, but you're right. If he gets anywhere near winning they'll be vindicated. I was just looking forward to seeing him demolish the RSA field, though of course that wasn't gauranteed either..

I like the look of Arabian Revolution in the sixth race tomorrow. Won 2-3 and followed Beltor home on his second start (Sebastian Beach third). Should go well at around 9/1.

Whilst he is a novice chaser- he is also 8 years old. He isn't a spring chicken by any stretch of the imagination and he has jumped naturally on every start.

The Gold Cup has few regular Grade 1 performers bar the favourite and he demolished some of the open-age group last time out.

I think they have made the right decision. Why wait until he is 9 and when he might not necessarily make it to Cheltenham?

Coneygree goes GC, is that right?! WTF. Give must means double your stake on DON POLI, he'll piss up IMO

Nothing else hugely confident about, the bookies could get it back tomorrow lads so watch out.

Was chatting to Rich Ricci today at Cheltenham, he give me Vautour for Thursday. His mate says Djakadam for Gold Cup.

Don Poli is a proper nice staying chaser. Cannot see Kings Palace outbattling him up the hill and he has too much class for the likes of Southfield Theatre,

If they offer up 3/1 or 7/2 in the morning I'll smash him up I think.

The only saver to worry about IMO is IF IN DOUBT, because he is a proper stayer but has made too many jumping errors. If he puts a neat round in he is McCoys sort of horse.
