Morning all... Countdown continuing for most I m sure..only 6 days away before it all starts. I see it's been reported that ITV will be playing the traditional 'roar of the crowd' to the first race so much like football we will have artifical/ background noise to create the atmosphere. ITV have yet to decide if they will use it on the subsequent 3 days. It will be interesting to see how that comes across on the ITV coverage- hopefully very well. Expect also some clever camera work as ITV will want to avoid the usual pan across the grandstand shot following the winner coming off the course as this year those shots will have a huge grandstand completely bare.
TYGER BAY 7/1 Kempton 4.45 Won on the snaff in a classified here two runs ago but then they sent him to Southwell for a quick follow up and he absolutely hated the surface. He returns here to the scene of his facile win in a similarly modest contest and only two pounds worse off.
