I've seen BBC reporters backtrack and change their stories before unlike Autospout, which publishes a new story when new information becomes available. I've also seen Andrew Benson republish exactly the same story he'd already published in order to meet his targets.

So Massa's seat is mabye availble next year, and Webbers seat is still under discussion. Both Ferrari and Red Bull have drivers in the wings waiting for a call up so it should be sorted out sooner or later.

BBC Sport's Andrew Benson in Montreal: "There's a little bit of confusion surrounding Mark Webber's future at Red Bull this weekend. The Australian is a on a one-year contract and team boss Christian Horner has said that Webber has 'made it clear he wants to stay with the team' who 'just wanted to see whether he has still got the motivation and desire that he clearly has'. But Webber told BBC F1 pit-lane reporter Ted Kravitz on Friday: "We'll see how we go. There's a bit to go yet in the summer. Keep thinking." No one's quite sure what that slight disconnect might mean. Webber was also some way off team-mate Sebastian Vettel's pace on Friday, admitting he was 'not quite quick enough yet'."
