Call me stark raving mad, but having watched the first half of the Stoke Man City game I think United will have the Premiership sewn up before the end of the season and we will beat a gutted City on the last day of the season to stay up, you heard it first!!!!!
Maybe it's the endorphins from my 20k run before the game this morning still kicking in!!!! I never thought we'd get anything from the Sunderland game after their performance against Blackburn, O'Neill wouldn't allow it. That Taiwo cracker could make all the difference at the end of the season
Hi RTID, our mutual friend is doing well and keeping the team's spirits up as there's been a few sickness bugs this week, amazing really as his old man has cancer, puts our QPR woes in perspective
its impressive how stoke have managed the fewest successful passes of any team this year, less than half of many teams, and over a thousand less than the next worse, yet can still give top teams so much trouble. Gotta give it to them, their system gets results..
I'd rather hope than give up, not in my nature. Funny how so many fans are prepared to give up hope but won't allow that from the players!
the situation is pretty bleak today, but nothing has been decided in the bottom 5/6. This is the time of year when underdogs get shock results against the big guys, because they have to. Long way to go before the bottom is decided. You got 3 points from a possible 6. That's a very good return when you look at the form that preceeded it.
No chance of staying up. I gave up after the Norwich game but feel quite upbeat about next season in the championship with some decent management. The futures bright for QPR but will be bad before it gets better. Good to see Kasper, Connolly and Legs doing well for the fake hoops. They will be in the premiership next season and hope they get a better crack of the whip than they did at QPR. Think one of the mistake we made along the way was letting Gorkss go. For me he was always better than anything we got now. Always remember his heroics in keeping the score down at Norwich last season when we got beat 1-0 amongst many other outstanding performances.
Not saying you will go down but there is no way you'll win at City IMO. City have a 100% home record and if they beat United they will want to keep that in tact and end the season on a high. If you stay up IMO you have to have survival sewn up before you play Chelsea at the Bridge
I count myself as one of the optimistic QPR fans but I think we were relegated the moment that Cisse grabbed Roger Johnsons neck.
