One thing I now like about this season is that we are now thankfully out of the spotlight and have been all closed season. We are no longer on everyone's lips and we have faded out in the betting, I think in a positive sort of way this has got to help the manager and the team. All I will say is let everyone write Leicester City off at their peril. We were the third youngest team in the championship last year and now we have not upset the team by signing 12 players I think we will be a more mature side that has got to know each others strengths and weaknesses its just a shame we did not get Michael Keane back for this season but i think a few players will surprise us and come on in leaps and bounds from last years experience. Look how many teams that have signed on average 8 players, none of whom have played together before, that is something we have done for the past 5 seasons and it ain't worked. At least we now have a settled side who know each other. I am not over but quietly confident that if we can stay out of the limelight we can just be left to play our stuff and be consistent in our performances. A good win today would see us hit the ground running. Come on boys, here's hoping for a great season
I'm loving the fact we're not getting a look in from these so called 'professional' pundits. Everyone thinks you have to buy to get stronger when obviously it's not losing your best players. If we'd have lost Schmeichel, Nugent, Morgan and Knockaert but replaced them with lesser players on big transfer fees we'd have been everyones favourite, no doubt. I like the fact that QPR are under so, so much pressure. Everyone expects them to walk it, I think they'll buckle and 'do a Leicester'.
