I have a feeling that this weekend, looking at the fixture list, we could be the only team in the bottom 7 to pick up a win! Blackpool are on the ropes if you ask me, and I reckon with the confidence of last weekend, we could turn them over for 3 or 4 goals. Everyone else has a fixture I reckon they would struggle with, barring maybe Barnsley! If our defense can shape up, and SOD can pull a rabbit out of his arse, by getting Nyatanga and Fontaine to look like professional footballers and not like Laurel and Hardy sat in the middle of our defence, we could edge closer to safety! Watch this come back and bite me in the ass, and we are the only team in the bottom 7 that DOESN'T win!
I hope your perfect dream world comes to life rhino slammer because if it does then we are back in the picture, Hopefully we can pick somebody who can defend as that is our major problem, for yet another season, along with our lack of midfield workers to support eveyone around them at both ends of the pitch. Still won't be easy for us but if we should be good enough at Blackpool and follow it up with a win vs Brighton then our future will start to look brighter.
If there is enough draws then the bottom 17 might not all win. I said after the doom and gloom from people on here after defeats to cardiff and palace to keep faith as i thought we would get 6 points against barnsley and blackpool which we are half way there. Who knows another win and we could be moving out the bottom 3. Its in our own hands with Wolves and Sheff Wednesday coming up. Still think we could get a mid table finish as whoever stays up will need a record number of points to do so and looking at the table once you are out the bottom 3 there not many points seperating the teams
Cardiff fan, look you beat us at your place fair and square, plus you have had good results. Like us no matter what any other teams do we have to win as many games as we can. As long as we win our games we will be ok. What is the worse that can happen if we dont win our games? We will not get auto and you will be relegated so its not all doom and gloom is it...it is all doom and gloom and a nightmare. There is only one thing to do now think positive. good luck jck
Fecking el', me and my sausage fingers, impresses the ladies, but it left me heartbroken when the Corrs said I couldn't be in the band, that and fondling a couple of em up is what spoilt my chances, I thought Jim was giving me the eye though. Cheers Shiney, your a little lover, bless you! COYR!
That can work against teams because they know how awful it is to play on and some of Blackpool's players could actually psyche themselves out about it. Remember that now such pitches are a thing of the past and not seen at Championship level for nigh on twenty years. so for the home side it can be a real downer while we just have to do 90 minutes on it. SO'D will almost certainly have used the negatives of their bad pitch to organise his team on the positives it can provide for us and how to deal with it. That could be simply sitting back, no pretty football and hoof it away from our box. Or alternatively, to press very high up because for Blackpool to pass their way through the sand and mud at pace on such a poor surface will be seriously impaired. I feel a point at least coming our way.
It all went down hill from the Watford vs Wolves game... I still have no idea how pundits keep referring to Dean Saunders as a great manager, he has achieved nothing in this league. He got Doncaster relegated with un-used premier league players, and is now destroying a very decent bunch of Wolves players.
