Along with all you guys, hope with all my heart they are correct on this one! The sadder news is that they have Blackburn down to beat us next week :-( I have made the assumption that the odds shown are up to date. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation
My brother told me at the on the 23rd November QPR to be relegated at 5/1 was the bet of the year. I didnt believe it but with 5 pts out of a possible 33 Ive seen nothing to convince me that he isnt wrong. We are now about 6/4 for the drop so hes got a great bet. If we lose at Blackburn saturday and with our run in to come can someone please turn the lights out if they are passing Loftus Road. At least next year we will be back on a level playing field in the championship.
Obviously the odds change after each game but I just found it vaguely encouraging that we are not the most favourite for the drop. Not sure if discussed elsewhere but here is an important question. If the unthinkable were to happen, do we think that The Board are prepared to enable us to do a Newcastle, storm the championship and go straight back up or will there be a fire sale? For those of a more negative disposition, please just remember this one thing. With 11 men on the pitch, we looked a match for any low to mid table team. We are not done yet!
