We all have read the stats about chances created, woodwork hit etc however how just plain unlucky do you think we were last season and therefore what can we expect from lady luck in 12/13 So all things luck based please - rituals, lucky pants that type if thing! Ps to all the wums who plague our board ( yes I know you "create your own luck" and it happened too often to be purely luck so do one!)
Some of it's luck, some of it is composure and confidence. If we were scoring goals, then if you miss one, you don't worry about it as much knowing you'll score the next. If you hit the post, then miss another one, you tense up a bit, think about things a bit too much, try to do that little bit extra and put yourself under more pressure. Miss another one and so on... Sometimes you need that "lucky goal" where it hits you and goes in you the keeper makes a howler just to relieve the pressure a bit.
nah.... we got some luck too... we rode our luck v city and even cardiff in the carling. its not luck when you play badly or when you lack composure and plain fire the ball wide. sure we hit a lot of woodwork but thats just an excuse really. we were looking at it that if ANYONE scored first we were done for, we only played for about 20mins a half and so we basically didn't see the table lie one little bit did we? we should have done better, and some players who are still at the club really should have given dalglish a LOT more, kenny was tearing his hair out at the attitude of some guys. the test for rodgers is if he can get anything more out of them or if he ships them out or just keeps them at thier level.
