that's the main thing. We won. The performance was terrible again and you can see why both teams are where they are. Yes we put in more effort but by half time I was so bored and it felt as if the excitement and hope had been drained from my body. Better 2nd half but if we we're playing Watford it would of been a cricket score. Well done to the boys they worked hard for the win but it has to be much better on Tuesday night.

Makes 1 bad past when he had only 1 option?

Moloney looks a definite improvement on foster. Heart was in my mouth when Anderson went down and I seen foster warming up.

He played for 8 minutes!!!!! If I wanst a marv fan nobody would bring it up. Plus when marv misplaced his pass before that he tackled and won the ball back when Ipswich were at our door. Don't be so negative towards a player who played for 8 minutes and done nothing wrong <doh>

Maloney I thought had a decent debut and could go on to be a very good signing

Kelly others will disagree but I do like him, not afraid to tackle and has good vision on his passes.

Anderson, I said to my wife walking away from the ground, if Del played him more he could still be in the job he is a real live wire.

    Balders ran his socks off.

Davies is to me not a out and out striker he can pick out fantastic passes he ghost into areas holds the ball up and tackles well, to me he is like a scholes player.

Carey was fantastic yesterday and even allowed Fontaine to gain confidence who is trying to hard to please the crowd at the moment. He is starting to get better.

    Don't like Kilkenny

Shiny or anyone else in the Eastend can comment on Heatons save in the second half from where I sat it looked cracking.

It was rod beautiful bit of keeping although he doesn't come off his line enough. As for Kelly he looks quality some of the balls he was spreading around were beautiful

Someone said to me yesterday Kelly reminds him of Tinman when he joined but right footed, I think he has more bite in his tackle and will take the central midfield role soon.

I agree rod looks like an all round midfielder people have to remember he's being forced to play RM and did a good job yesterday. Although you could see where we needed albert lost count the amount of times I said "awh if only adomah was there!" A bit more time to settle in to his new team and a bit of confidence then we will really see what player he is. Yesterday he showed glimpses of pure class.

Yes Carey was great - he is still the best defender at the club on most days.
Seems to me that MoM yesterday though was SoD. He sussed Foster after one game and benched him.
He explained to them at half time what they had to do to stop Baldock being marooned upfield on his own.
He changed tactics and we played much better in the 2nd half.
THAT is what you pay a manager to do. How often did Del earn his money that way I wonder?
I think we can all guess. Nice to have a proper manager who can read the game and makes
effective changes. He will get more out of the team and they will trust in his vision if we start getting points.
Still a tough ask but at least some hope now.

MoM was taylor. He times his injury to perfection, If he hadn't of done that we would of seen davies until 65-75 mins. Would of been 0-1 to Ipswich until late on. Why davies didn't start is beyond me he looked fully fit yesterday and was the best player on the pitch. Also marv passed the ball to davies who flicked it on to Stead. If marv never came on it would of been 1-1

It was the only pass that Elliott played to a team mate then. I know he's your hero Shiny but Bob Taylor is mine and I would not want to see him play now!! Surely you must see Bambie on ice is past it now? I could see him as a makeshift defender but not a midfielder no more.
