    Excellent once again wiz.

The robin has always been a part of my time supporting city, always will be, he is my favourite mascot.

My alias red robin has been used by me since I joined the city forums years ago.

The robin is a part of city's heritage.

Are we having new shirts next season? Going back to using our '76 badge would fit in perfect with the issue of new kits

It would benefit the club shop to sell a few items. Badges, t shirts, stickers are sold outside the ground. Old style Robins - angry Robins out sell the crest by far. Money to be made here.

I like the crest myself. I agree the Robin has a part to play but I have a city tattoo of the crest.

    Leave alone is my say...

Saved a link but have already forgotten.

Back to the topic. Ernie stickers were given out at brazillian soccer schools all the city kids loved them even the kids with chelsea kits liked them. Lions - Eastend have sold several thousand pounds worth of bits with Robins on them from behind the bar and from buckets etc. That is not even pushing it. Put a crest on something you will have to graft on a matchday to break even. Club shop would make thousands over seasons, easy money being missed. If you want an image of City to get the club seen and out on the streets the crest is not fit for that purpose. hard to work out who its, hard and expensive to copy and dull to kids and many others.

We have seen with Cardiff recently that they are looking to change their badge to make the club easier for marketing. Going from a blue bird to a red dragon.

If our nicknames are meant to be the robins then we need a badge to match as the coat of arms have never done it for me

It might be interesting to know what fans think the benefits of using the crest are?

I will piss myself if they change then.

I had my city tattoo covered up as I was pissed of with people coming up to me on holidays and things like that saying I'm from Bristol (most of them had man u or the others shirts on) plus I had it done 20 years ago so looked tatty now.
