After a fantastic draw at Anfield and a good 1st half yesterday, I'm still very optimistic we will have a good season.
I'm as gutted as the rest of us about yesterday and I'm starting to think some old witch has put a curse on us for the derby games, but I truly believe we will do better than last season especially If Bruce sorts out the left side of the team.
I am putting my neck on the line and will say we Will finish above the mags and better our points tally from last season.
I think the answer is very simple, play players in their natural position and play the good old fashioned 442.
    KTF.

Agreed, we do have a good squad of talented players, when used in their best positions and when complimented by the right tactics, but at the moment we are not doing that.

We need a goal scorer, pure and simple. Im certainly not comparing us to Arsenal we are nowhere near them but we can play as pretty as you like, but the winning team puts the ball in the net more than the other team. Im not saying lets turn into stoke but we need a goal scorer, not a forward who can run the channels or pass nicely, just somebody who can score.

WE have a very good squad but unfortunately, the plank picking the team and the tactics is inept.

Bring in a really astute manager who cares about SAFC and not his boyhood club up the road more and maybe we could yet still have a terrific season.

Bruce out - O Neill in. Yes please.

We have a very good team, amongst the squad, but yesterdays line-up was not it.

4-5-1 is a depressing formation at the best of times, let alone at home, in your local derby. To me the formation tells me Bruce recognises his very limited options upfront. Sess's skill is clear for all to see and he would terrorise teams running at them and feeding two strikers ahead of him. He's just not a natural striker and it's just another case of Bruce playing players out of position which makes absolutely no sense.
