100% Agree Col. I'm sure negativity and pessimism do transmit to the players, and onto the pitch on matchdays with resultant less than confident performances. Positivity and optimism will encourage the players, and they are much more likely to do better with this emanating from the terraces and the fancy boxes! Many players on many teams have said exactly this. Come on U RRRR's!

 

True. I wouldn't be surprised to see us draw at home on Saturday with a very nervy crowd and win away at Bolton, away from the home crowd pressure etc.

I have given up on trying to stay positive, I have resigned myself to the fact that we are going down. If we don't, it will be a pleasant surprise. The ongoing disappointment after each match was killing me.
